City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust appointed Vinci Construction to design and build this multi-storey car park (MSCP) which provides 770 car spaces at Sunderland Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital. Vinci choose Concast as the specialist subcontractor supplying a Precast frame solution for four levels of parking covered by a curved steel roof. Concast worked closely with specialist MSCP designers Hill Cannon who utilise their patented VCM design to provide additional car spaces on internal ramps. Concast designed, manufactured, delivered and installed the Precast frame which incorporated multi-storey coloums of varying height allowing for the curved roof structure. Concast have since worked with Vinci Construction on further projects including another MSCP at Hull University.
