We visited Concast Precast Group‘s facility recently, and this is what hit us. Had an amazing proper factory tour with Martin O Reilly and the team Karolína Morillo Mičková Jaroslav Vomacka Peter Pilarčík Andrej K.. Concast have been designing, manufacturing and installing precast solutions since 1975. Nearly fifty years in the business. That kind of track record doesn’t happen without consistently delivering for clients. What struck us on the visit wasn’t the history, though. It was the attitude toward doing things differently. There’s a version of precast manufacturing that’s conservative by nature. You stick to what’s proven, standard moulds, standard profiles, standard everything. It’s understandable. The economics of precast favour repetition. What Concast showed us was something different. A genuine willingness to push at the edges of what’s possible, new shapes, new details, bespoke solutions, without compromising on the quality that’s been their hallmark for decades. That flexibility matters enormously when you’re trying to bring new systems to market. From a structural engineering perspective, a manufacturer who’s willing to engage on non-standard details and back it up with the production capability to actually deliver is rare. That combination of openness and quality is exactly what you need when you’re developing something new. Thank you all for the warm welcome!
