Concast Precast cross wall frame installation providing 130 bed Community Nursing Home (CNU) in Killarney for main contractor Sisk. Final block of 4 currently being installed with follow-on trades well advanced on completed blocks. Our cross wall Precast frame comprises four two-storey interconnected blocks, constructed utilising nearly 1,000 bespoke Precast elements. The overall accommodation is designed to provide adjoining 25 bed households, each of which includes; single and twin bedrooms, dayroom, sunroom, dining area, break out spaces, activity spaces, quiet rooms along with staff and nursing areas. Concast are also currently providing Sisk with Precast solutions for two further CNU projects at Middleton Cork (50 beds) and St Finbarr’s Hospital Cork (105 beds). Sisk has signed an agreement to design and build seven CNU facilities at locations throughout Ireland under the HIQA compliance programme through Public Private Partnership (CNU PPP Project).
