A new biomass power plant at Sanwich Kent will have a capacity to produce 27.8 MW of electricity fired primarily with wood sourced locally in the UK. The facility is being constructed by Danish main contractor and power plant investor BWSC and Concast are providing all Precast elements including over 3,000 sqm of blast proof wall panels. The plant will be capable of producing power corresponding to the consumption of 50,000 households. Concast also provided Precast solutions to BWSC at similar biomass plants in the UK including projects at both Hooton and Tilbury.
